It was my (Becky) first time in London and I was slightly disappointed that I didn't see the Queen/The Tower of London/Mr Bean, but I did get to see a massive train station, a massive BT building, and I slept in a massive bed at the aptly named Premier Inn.
We're still not sure how Verity even got to London (she was there before us), but the rest of us took the train. While Hayley was enjoying some musical delights as far away from us as she could get, the rest of us were attempting to demonstrate the correct way to drink a can of Stella. Little finger darling!
Oh sorry, did you want to know about our actual gig? Well that was AMAZING. As well as playing alongside some brilliant bands (and the delightful Helen Love) we also got to soak up the musical atmosphere in the green room and hear some addictive American accents. Some lovely people said some lovely things to us and we just felt very overwhelmed and honoured for the whole day.
A big thanks to Trev at Oddbox for putting us on, and to the wonderful Helen Love for patiently listening to my sinus stories.
